Celebrating Excellence at the South African End-of-Year Celebration Gala Dinner

The Zimbabwe Achievers Awards (ZAA) South Africa is proud to announce the nominees for the 2025 ZAA South Africa Awards, recognising outstanding Zimbabweans who continue to excel, inspire, and uplift communities across South Africa and beyond.

The prestigious event, set for Saturday, 6 December 2025, will take place at the iconic Indaba Hotel in Johannesburg as part of the annual South African End-of-Year Celebration Gala Dinner. This highly anticipated gala will bring together leaders, creatives, professionals, entrepreneurs, and community builders for an unforgettable night of celebration, networking, and honouring exceptional achievement.

Speaking on the announcement, ZAA Global Chairman Dr Ted Nyatanga emphasised the importance of celebrating diaspora excellence:

“Each year, we witness more Zimbabweans breaking boundaries and contributing meaningfully across sectors. The ZAA South Africa edition continues to highlight these remarkable stories, reminding us of the power, resilience, and impact of our people. Our nominees represent the very best of who we are.”

The 2025 nominees span diverse categories including business, community impact, sports, arts, culture, academia, media, and service excellence. This year’s finalists were selected through a rigorous assessment process that reflects the values, vision, and spirit of the Zimbabwe Achievers Awards.

The gala dinner will feature a red-carpet reception, entertainment, keynote presentations, and the presentation of awards to winners across all categories. Guests can expect an evening of elegance, celebration, and reflection on the achievements of the Zimbabwean diaspora community in South Africa.
